As my next assignment I chose to take pictures of animals. Originally I didn't even plan to do animals, but this week I found so many good opportunities to take pictures of animals, so I changed my decision. The squirrel in the little house was sitting there for a few minutes, I don't know why it did there, but it looked happy :) The ladybug was sitting on the window. It was hard to take a picture of it, since it was so small, but it worked out! My edits: I turned to exposure and clarity up a little bit. I also adjusted he temperature up a little bit, since it was a really grey day.

Our second Photoshop assignment was to retouch a picture of a car. It really took a while to get used to Photoshop, but after a few fails I started to understand more. It was really interesting to see how all the good looking pictures are developed and how much you can fix with Photoshop. My edits and what I learned: I removed the background and many light reflections on the car. I also tinted the car window to move the attention of the car itself. I learned all the different kinds of selections and how to work with them. I learned how to adjust levels and how to use the clone stamp tool.
Our first photoshop assignment was to create a pop art collage inspired by Andy Warhol. I really liked playing with the colors and different par of photoshop. Even if we just learned a small part of photoshop, I am excited to learn more about this program. What I learned: We started learning about photoshop and how complicated everything is. I learned how to turn a picture black and white and adjust the intestity of the whites and blacks. Also I learned how to work with guides and change the pictures into different colors.
I chose my second assignment because I went to the Women's March last Saturday. So many things happened there. And again, I took to many pictures and it was hard to filter out the best ones. But here are the pictures the most. My favorite part for the pictures were the bubbles, I love the reflections and the colors. It was really hard to take a picture of them, since they were moving the whole time. I didn't go there alone. We went there as a group of exchange students and we had a lot of fun. As you can maybe see in the jumping picture. Editing the pictures I had fun playing with the colors in the little prinzess picture. I like to bring out this really intense pink in contrast to the black and white. My edits: I put the exposure a tiny bit up. The main thing that I changed was I turned the vibrance and the saturation up to make the rainbow colors come out better. I also adjusted the contrast, to bring out the bubble better. My first theme was food. Since we all have to deal with food every day, I wanted to choose a topic which I would not have to travel far, or search for the right place to shoot it. It was not as easy as I thought. My imagination was: "I will just use 10 minutes and take some nice pictures of my daily food" That was not exactly how it went. I first had to find food which would look good on a picture. A peanut butter and jelly sandwich would not be perfect. Then I had to find a good place to shoot the pictures. My white folder was the background, the lighting came from my phone flash. 240 pictures later, I was done. Yes, 230 of the will not be used, but it was worth it! Edit to the picture: I didn't edit very much on this picture. I turned up the exposure a tiny bit to make it look better lighted. The only big thing I did was the temperature. I turned to down a lot to highlight the blue of the berries. I also turned the clarity up a little bit.
