As my last assignment I did lighpainting. I really liked doing light painting in photo 1. This time I tried to set the goal higher which made it harder for me to take the pictures. I had a lot of fun taking them but sometimes I wish for a professional camera and professional light sources which would make the pictures a lot better and easier to take. I still tried my best and this is how they turned out: My edits: more contrast, less brightness, black and white, crop. I learned that the lighpainting pictures you can find online are made by professional photographers and really hard to recreate or take inspirations from.

In this assignment we tried to recreate advertisement. We included our own picture and than tried to make the rest look the same. In the galleries below you can see the picture that I took first followed by the original advertisement. After that I included the copy that I made. I really had a lot of fun trying to recreate them. Without creativity this would not have worked. I think I did a pretty good job, what do you think? :)
This is my photoshop work from this week. We tried to recreate tutorials by ourselves.
Smoke tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VqfB1DchijU This weekend we had mothersday. Since we had many flowers at home I decided to take HDR pictures of these flowers. The colors look so much better in HDR and our flowers were nice and colorful. I didn't do any edits besides merging them together. I learned that taking HDR pictures isn't that hard. Once I found the right setting, the camera took the pictures by itself. All I had to do was merge them together and they were done :)
Our next assignment was to create a gallery which represents me right now and how I think I will be in the future. I had a lot of fun making these collages. In both pictures I picture myself as going many places in the world. I tried to include many different pictures and blend them well together.
After we did panoramics last trimester we started doing panographics. They are a little different. While the normal panoramics are perfectly blend together and basically just a very long picture, the panographics are more creative. We do have a wider view of the image but we are also free to add some parts on the top or bottom. Doing this it doesn't matter how we hold our camera. So horizontal, vertical or completely different doesn't matter as long as the distance between the photographer and the object are still the same.
Merging them together can be done either by hand or with the photoshop automate photoshop. It was a lot of fun to out them together by hand. In photo 1 we already did Multiple me. We took multiple pictures of ourselves and added them together. Every picture was hot individually. This time we added motion to it. We took multiple pictures very fast after another and merged them together. So out of five or more pictures we made one. We had to be careful to blend them together so that you don't see the edges of the other pictures.
This week I decided to take pictures of people. The weather was kind of cold but the sun was shining. The time when I took the pictures the sun already began to set. This made it easier for lighting. I like to experiment with shadows and light. Luckily I got help from my model who was willing to smile for the pictures :) My edits: saturation and vibrance totally down. Contrast and blacks up.
This weekend I had a trip with my exchange organisation. More than 85 people went together, from all over the world. First we went to Washington D.C and than to NY. It was an amazing experience. We all had a lot of fun. And of course I took some pictures. I also had a lot of fun taking the pictures because I always try to collect as many memories as possible. Now, whenever I want to look back at the trip, I have many pictures to bring back all the memories! My edits: saturation and vibrance up, more contrast and more shadows. Than I added the frame around the picture. I sometimes had problems taking pictures in the dark or when the sun went down. But I tried different settings in the m mode and it ended up being pretty easy. After I got better, I had more fun and I was happy whenever I took a good picture. I learned to never give up and always keep trying until you get it.
